When Ken Makow, the owner of Honeycast, required Internet connectivity for his services, such as live video production for internal corporate communications, instructional webcasts, press events and corporate town halls, his only option was relying on his customer’s corporate networks. At times this posed a challenge for a variety of reasons such as blocked ports, security lockdowns or other firewall or quality-of-service related issues.
