How can I use my own decoder or software decoder with my Teleporter Receiver (BPA)?

To use your own decoder with the Teleporter Receiver you will just need to disconnect the current decoder (if applicable) by disconnecting the short Ethernet patch cable from the front of the device. You will then need to set your own decoder to IP 192.168.254.87 and connect it to one of the LAN ports on the device. The decoding settings will need to be set such that it is decoding a UDP stream on port 1000.

As an example using VLC on a computer, you will set your computers IP to 192.168.254.87 and connect it to the Teleporter Receiver’s LAN. In VLC you will then open network stream udp://@:10000 and you should see the stream come up.
