Hub and spoke (star topology) VLL configuration example.

Virtual lease line (VLL)

VLL allows bonding of WAN connections to another BBNA in order to transparently join LANs. One end is configured as a server and the other as a client. Client and server subnets must differ.

For the VLL connection one site must have static ip address.

Configuration

In order to configure a VLL tunnel, a pop-up menu form must be filled out within the GUI for each of the two Mushroom BBNA devices. On the HOME tab of the Mushroom BBNA Management Interface, this form will appear by clicking on the “Add Remote LAN” button.

Select connection mode server and give connection name, password and remote subnet.

Once the form has been completed, click ADD to complete the VLL configuration for that BBNA. The VLL parameters can be edited by clicking on the name of the VLL tunnel in the Remote LAN table of the HOME  tab.
