Streamer PRO
  • Stream live high quality video from anywhere
  • Stream from field directly to your choice of CDN or video server
  • Bond 3G / 4G wireless data cards for uninterrupted high quality video streaming

Streamer PRO is a 3G / 4G bonding device that can broadcast live streaming video directly from your camera to a video server / CDN (Content Delivery Network) of your choice. Since the video is streamed over the bonded 3G / 4G cards, your video stream can support your high quality video and will have unmatched professional level reliability.

Diagram for broadcast live streaming video

Webcasters can simply plug in the video feed from their camera or video switcher, add the USB modem cellular aircards to the Streamer PRO to broadcast live streaming video to their choice of CDN/video server. Streamer PRO will work transparently with your existing video streaming work-flow.
High quality streaming over bonded 3G / 4G wireless cards - Streamer PRO uses award winning 3G 4G bonding technology that is optimized to broadcast live streaming video over aggregated 3G / 4G wireless data cards. This provides higher quality video, such as higher resolution, higher frame rate as well as unmatched professional grade reliability.

Transparent setup - Streamer PRO is designed to simply slide into your video streaming work-flow without any change required. Simply plug in your camera into Streamer PRO, configure your destination video servers / CDNs (up to 3 simultaneous) and start streaming live.

Support for most types of video sources - Streamer PRO can support s-video, composite or optionally HDMI and SD-SDI / HD-SDI video inputs. Similar to Streamer, with Streamer PRO, you can also use your own video encoder or video switcher as a video feed.

Support for many video servers and CDNs - Streamer PRO supports all Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and video streaming servers. So you can broadcast live streaming video to your choice of CDN.

High Speed Internet access - When not streaming video, Streamer PRO doubles as a Broadband Bonding Network Appliance for high speed Internet access over the bonded 3G / 4G wireless cards for data applications.

Support for any service provider for 3G / 4G data cards - You can use cards from any carrier in any country. Please contact us for the latest list of supported data cards.

  1. What is the difference between the Teleporter and the Streamer PRO? Teleporter is an equipment for live video uplink applications such as news gathering for broadcasters. Teleporter is ideal if the video needs to be streamed live to a headquarter office with very low latency that can support interactivity, such as Interviews. Teleporter also has a hardware based adaptive video encoder that provides broadcast quality video where you can plug in an SDI, HDMI or analog video input directly from your camera into the Teleporter.

Streamer PRO on the other hand is ideal to broadcast live streaming video to the web. Streamer PRO will accept a video input from your camera (similar to Teleporter) and stream to a video server (or CDN) of your choice.
  2. What type of bit rates and video quality does Streamer support? Streamer PRO will bond and optimize the available bandwidth. The video bit rate can be as high as several mega bits per second or it can be as low as couple of hundred kilobits per second and Streamer PRO's adaptive video encoder will change the encoding rate in realtime to make sure the highest quality video is achieved with the utmost reliability for uninterrupted video.
  3. How many cards can I bond? Can I bond different carriers? Streamer PRO natively supports bonding of up to 8 cellular aircards and yes, you can bond any usb cellular aircard from any carrier in any country. Streamer PRO also has a built-in WiFi and a Ethernet WAN interface both of which can be used to add more bandwidth to your bonded tunnel.
  4. What type of video input can the Streamer PRO support? Streamer PRO, depending on the model, will accept s-video, composite, HDMI, SD-SDI or HD-SDI video input from any camera. Since Streamer PRO includes Streamer functionality as well, it can also accept encoded video via an Ethernet port. Various video encoders and video switchers are supported including Flash Media Live Encoder, Tricaster, Wirecast, Touchscreen and many others. Please contact us to check if your video encoder equipment is supported.
  5. Which CDNs can I stream to with Streamer PRO? Any CDN. You can use Streamer PRO to broadcast live streaming video to a CDN of your choice.
  6. How portable is Streamer PRO? Streamer PRO can attach to a camera directly via an Anton Bauer or IDX V-mount interface and be powered by an Anton Bauer or IDX batter which will also power the camera. If you prefer, you can also use the Streamer PRO with the optional small side-bag. Streamer PRO is ultra portable and weighs less than 4.4 lbs (2 Kgs).
  7. Can I connect my Tricaster to the Streamer and stream as I normally do? Even though Streamer PRO is designed to attach to your camera directly, you can also use the Ethernet port on the Streamer PRO and use it as Streamer with a switcher. Other similar type video switchers are also supported as well as a flash media live encoder or wirecast on your laptop.
  8. I have a wired connection at the venue that I will be streaming from. Can I bond that Internet line with my several cellular wireless data cards to achieve higher bandwidth and better reliability? Yes, with the optional "usb-to-Ethernet converter" kit you can convert the usb ports into Ethernet based WAN ports and plug in any wired Internet connection to be bonded with the rest of the WAN connections.
  9. If I don't want to attach the Streamer PRO to the camera directly, can I use it in a backpack? Yes, Streamer PRO has an optional backpack.
